We start with a short reading from the book, Coming To Your Senses by Jon Kabat-Zinn followed by 25 minutes of sitting meditation. The invitation of Lectio Divina is to cultivate a heart-centred intimacy with the sacred text of the Bible. We listen deeply with “the ear of our hearts” (St Benedict). No prior experience needed.

Come and explore the wisdom of one of the world’s great spiritual texts. The Gospel of John is much more cosmological and mystical in nature than the other gospels. We are delighted to have Professor Ravi Ravindra, author of the ‘Gospel of John in the Light of Indian Mysticism’, lead this evening's talk. Ravi will open our evening's reflections with a guided meditation, followed by a talk and then an opportunity for dialogue. Professor Ravi ...
