Hildegard of Bingen – a Visionary for Our Times

This workshop, led by June Boyce-Tillman, will explore the mediaeval visionary and Christian mystic Hildegard of Bingen by means of story telling, music, contemplation and discussion. Hildegard’s holistic theological approach has much to teach us today about healing, ecology, music, painting and creativity.

June Boyce-Tillman has written widely on Hildegard. She is professor of applied music at the University of Winchester, a renowned composer, academic and an Anglican priest, and is involved in a variety of artistic community building activities.

June has written two operas on Hildegard and spoken widely internationally.
