Ignatian spirituality helps us to find God in the midst of our daily lives. In this afternoon, Julian Maddock introduces the 16th century timeless wisdom of St Ignatius Loyola. We look back to see where God has been in our lives. We try out some ways of praying that can help us to be aware of God’s presence and allow God to draw closer. We draw inspiration from each other by sharing some of our experiences. You do not need to have any prior knowledge, but an openness to be part of an experiential afternoon in the Christian tradition.
Julian has been serving an apprenticeship as a spiritual director since 1989. He was a hospital chaplain for 8 years. He is the leader of the third year of the Ignatian Spirituality Course at the London Spirituality Centre, and he supervises spiritual directors and healthcare chaplains.
